Scientific ratings of evidence base are great but don't right off interventions on the basis that they don't have a top rating. There are plenty of good interventions that don't have a significant evidence base. I think there is is just more that a rating number to consider when matching client needs and strategies.

There are assumptions behind every measurement tool we create. I downloaded the Child Exposure to Domestic Violence Scale found that the quenstions only asked about 'Moms' being hurt by their partners. Domestic violence is a complex relational pattern. I was left wondering if this device oversimplified things leaving the author's epistemological slip clearly on show.Image may be NSFW.
